Hi! I’m Josh Smith. I grew up in New England, pouring concrete with my grandfather and working with my father’s subcontractors throughout high school. After serving in the military, I wanted to come back to the construction industry to fill a gap I saw: tradesmen with a holistic view of energy efficiency, technology, resilience, sustainability, durability, occupant independence, and human wellness. Essentially, someone who cared about all this new-fangled building science stuff and was willing to carry out the work of installing it correctly.
After interning with the premier energy recovery ventilation manufacturer and apprenticing as an electrician, I decided to go on my own to offer my specialist tradesman services to architects, builders, and discerning homeowners looking for better than the status quo. I’m a lifelong learner in my profession and love working with people who want to push the envelope, as well as just wanting a quality install.
